Who We Are
Carapay Limited, trading as Carapay is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland(C58301). We provide Carapay Accounts to consumers and businesses. Please note:
- The service is currently operating in "Beta" i.e. not all the features you might expect from a payment account are available at this time;
- You will need to be invited by an existing user to register to Carapay;
- Only consumers living in the Republic of Ireland may open Carapay accounts at this time.
The business is registered as a Limited company in Ireland.

License and Regulation
Carapay was authorised in 2010 as a Payment Institution in accordance with Regulation 18 of the European Communities (Payment Services) Regulations 2009 to provide and execute payment services throughout the European Community. For further information on the Payment Services Directive, click here.

Our Board
Our Board consists of Colm Lyon (CEO), Tom Conlon (Chairman), Ken Slattery and Paul Davey, who bring decades of respected payment and banking experiences to the team.
